I’ve been remiss not to thank all those who have commented and encouraged me with the pop top conversion project. At times I’m somewhat paralyzed with doubt and indecision during the process, and as I am pretty well working alone (my own choice I guess, I’m pig-headed) the feedback I get either in the comments here or by email have been very much appreciated.

I’m looking forward to doing this again, but with headroom.

Alistair, I am amazed at your energy and ingenuity with regards to your Vanagon mods. Is there any time left for farming duties? You’ve got more balls than I do when it comes to (for example), cutting a hole in the roof or even the whole Westfalia conversion!! Those two projects alone require a heck of a lot of comittment. I am now a fellow Islander (Comox). Would love to drop in for a visit sometime I’m “down Island”.

It’s a case of ignorance. If I knew how much work it would be I probably would have not done it 🙂
Not much of a farm, as shared hobby farm that’s all.
Drop me a line when you are in the area, then you can see just how crude a job I actually did.

Lovely van you have Trevor, and the city water fan mod is done very nicely.
