Was asked to make a reproduction of a plastic shim that, oh I’ll get this wrong, sits between red dot and mount on a Glock 99. The difference is, the new one was to be wedge shaped, around 4 degree taper. I had a go, black Delrin, and it worked. Little rough around the edges, I need to find a way to gently de-rag small plastic parts. Maybe a vibratory tumbler.
Anyway, just sitting back and waiting for the rush of new orders π

Wow, you can build anything. π
Details? any photos from part way through the process?

Hey Ed,
No I canβt make anything, especially money π
No pics of process. What I did was to measure the original, no taper plate. Make a model in fusion and add the taper ( top surface, studs, bottom surface, contours and window all square to the world).
Bottom surface machined first, the flipped and held in custom made fixture to do top surface. Was pretty easy on Cnc. Iβm guessing much easier on 3D printer.
Cheers
