Vanagon – a slim radiator shroud and fan

Made a shroud for Quentin, his design I’m just the fab guy. He has reasons for wanting slimmer.

It’s quite a reduction in thickness.

Looks real nice – would love to know air flow/cooling comparison.

  Yup, me too. It’s going in a van with a tdi, that runs cool with the stock shroud. So maybe there won’t be any firm data for comparison. Quentin wanted more room up there for things… maybe I’ll get pics of finished set up.

Nice work! I wonder if it’ll be less noisy than the stock set up. Also wonder what he is making room for.

Nicely done. Inspiration to try a design with more fans for better coverage and to incorporate the aftermarket oil cooler.
