    Cool! Much as I like vanagons, I gotta say that sitting next to that terraplane, you vanagon doesn’t look so good 🙂 No offence intended but they had a certain style back in those days that is lacking in more modern automobiles. (although, extra points to you for that ladder/tire carrier 🙂 )

      Hi Ed,

      Sitting in the Hudson is a totally different world than the vanagon. Steering wheel so close, headroom enough for big hat, high waistline making one feel like you’re looking out of gun slits.

      Nice interior details but I’d take the van any day 🙂
