      the snow was funny, not much of course, about 2 ft at best. Where camp was the new snow was blown off, leaving a hard crust that you could walk on. Under crust was old metamorphosed granular stuff. The van had difficulty with just 2wd + lock going through that stuff, despite it not being that deep. Further on, more snow on top of crust and crust thinner, tiring to walk on.

      Hey, like the old school TUAs and 3 pins? I shoud’ve taken a pic of the Asolo leather telemark boots too just to make you laugh 🙂
